Tired of the Censorship: TikTok blocks FatherFaabz Comedy Videos Constantly

User Faabz, or FatherFaabz, has made it known to everyone that he is officially tired of the platform censoring and removing his videos for making innocent jokes. At least he has, to the fans that actually find his videos in the first place.
There are almost 269 million Tik Toks on the app that are hashtagged with the word #Shadowbanned. As of recently, the word “shadow banning” has made headlines when various users on the app organized the “Blackout” Tuesday event on the 19th of May in 2020. TikTok has 100% denied the allegations made against them of “shadow banning” but regardless it seems as if they have not taken any measures to reupload certain content that was removed for no reason. These claims our team received by FatherFaabz tend to describe a similar pattern. Some users’ likes and comments on their videos do not reflect the numbers listed on their followers count. This is exactly the issue that FatherFaabz described recently. FatherFaabz has experienced a drastic reduction in engagement with his content that will continue to stunt the growth of his channel until the source of the shadowban is removed by the Tik Tok admins. Sometimes FatherFaabz’s videos get removed without any explanation by the app’s developers. This process is also known as ghosting or stealth-banning.
FatherFaabz (@FatherFaabz) is a 22-year-old content creator and YouTuber from the city of Houston, TX. He says he’s never made any truly offensive jokes in his videos or been cited for any violations, yet his videos get taken down on a regular basis. “For example, I posted a video that including the simple phrase ‘BLM’ to reference the riots that actually happened in real life. While I can see how the joke would trigger TikTok’s algorithm to remove it, the stupid robot doesn’t even know what I’m actually talking about.” he told the interviewer over email. “My video lacked offensive slurs, and any copyright infringements yet Tik Tok still decided to remove my videos; it’s been really f****** annoying to be the victim of this shadowbanning wave.” The simplest definition for “shadow ban” is the removal or the suppression of any video-based content without the user being notified by the apps developers that they have violated the terms and conditions of using the app. In other words, it’s when a platform deletes your videos and you have zero idea why they did. It is extremely difficult to prove shadow banning because the developers will never admit to doing it intentionally.
FatherFaabz’s video series that he posts is titled “Pistol Only Campaign” and is primarily a comedy series that is completely satirical. The series was received very well by his audience, as FatherFaabz recently hits over 1M likes on his videos. All of his videos are currently on his YouTube channel just in case TikTok decides to shadow ban his entire account. “My videos are designed to make people my age laugh and they include many references to adult content that you would most likely find on Adult Swim” Faabz informed us.
